Naruto Shippuden Ep 322: Madera Uchiha

FINALLY!  This is what I have been waiting for at long last.  The end of filler and you can so tell with how things are going now!

It is revealed that Madera is actually dead, leaving a lot of people asking who the man in the mask actually is.  Naruto, one of the clones, is completely drained from his battle with the previous Raikage and Gaara is in not much better shape.

Tsunade reveals that the tactic of invoking Madera's name was excellent for forcing the Allied forces throwing caution to the wind and now they are in a horrible war with no way to stop and find an alternative to fighting the man in the mask and his powerful minions.

Madera then puts on a one man army show and we see what the origin of the Sharingan legends could really do.  It is damned frightening as he did very few genjutsu and a crapton of ninjutsu.

We see his own version of the Susano as well, a much more formidable version compared to Sasuke's.  The desperate battle buys time for Sage mode, and Madera reveals a devastating secret.

He evolved his eyes to the Rinnegan before death.  Compared to Pain however, he is a monster.  Truly a rollercoaster of subtle dialogue of what is to come from the manga and jaw dropping action.

Compared to what we saw before this, MUCH preferable.  Even with filler attempt to keep it in the war setting, it was definitely reaching an empty feeling overall.  Welcome back to the main storyline!
